The high level of rain makes Southwest Lake a reasonably wet spot; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. High temperatures at Southwest Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's.       Highs during the winter are usually in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Southwest Lake. If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WALLACE-HWY 41 is a magnificent choice, and Southwest Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Lanier's Campground is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
