Southerlands Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. For the period of the summer months at Southerlands Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Through the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Southerlands Pond. Econo Lodge Henderson is a delightful site to get some rest. Drift down the rapids of Little Fishing Creek in a kayak, and swing by Dickies Creek it's a good place to have a look at.
