The beauty of South Lake is reason enough to stop by. A pleasant close by hotel is Sleep Inn Henderson; get yourself into a kayak and hit Tar River. Be careful coming to South Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. If you need a site to stay Henderson-Days Inn is a pleasant choice. This lake is so wonderful.
