If you like lakes and you're in this part of North Carolina you can check out Sonata Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's some interesting stuff to make out at Siniard Lower Dam close to Sonata Lake, and you're sure to run into some good people from Brevard here. Sonata Lake gets lots of water; March is when you get the most rain here, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Brevard Music Center Lake is close

During the months of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at Sonata Lake; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
