Summer at Soloman Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Soloman Lake are in the 20's. Take a little tour to Bashavia Creek while you're here at Soloman Lake, and an afternoon       playing golf at Grandview Golf Club is always a joy. All the water falling down from the sky makes Soloman Lake a wet place; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is November. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little tour to Soloman Lake Dam since you're here at Soloman Lake, and magnificent hiking is available along the Moores Knob Trail. A great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express CLEMMONS (WINSTON/SALEM AREA),                  and if you've had enough of Soloman Lake, Shallowford Lakes is nearby. Any time is a glorious time at Soloman Lake if you go for the outdoors. Tanglewood Family Resort is a magnificent campground nearby, and Soloman Lake is not the only place nearby, Trading Post Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Yadkin River in a kayak, and Soloman Lake is a wonderful site to visit for more than one day, Jomeokee Campground is a wonderful site to camp nearby.
