If you came to camp Fayetteville Koa is a magnificent place to do that; Smith Lake is right by the American Beech Trail. Having a splendid time at Smith Lake
is trouble-free. Smith Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Lazy Acres is a perfect local campground; hiking along the Fish Camp Trail is glorious fun. Drift down the rapids of Cape Fear in a kayak, and Black Swamp is an out of the ordinary swamp near Smith Lake.
