    Go to Skelton Twin Lakes if you want to go to a nice lake. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Head up to Wolf Laurel and strap some skis to your feet. If time allows, Blue Ridge Parkway is a national park worth checking out, and camping at Skelton Twin Lakes is magnificent fun, Arden RV Park and Camp Grounds is a magnificent local campground.
 
   You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area close to Skelton Twin Lakes has to offer. A wonderful lake like Brown Lake near Skelton Twin Lakes is a great spot to stop by, and it's a wonderful idea to stop by Merrill Cove Creek. Skelton Twin Lakes really is in the middle of a lovely outdoors paradise. Dry warm beds await you at Asheville-Days Inn Airport; if you're a golfer then a great nearby course is Brookwood Golf Club. This lake  
               is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Side Hill Trail, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Ski Beech.
All through the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Skelton Twin Lakes. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. During the winter the highs are generally in the 40's with temperatures at Skelton Twin Lakes dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Skelton Twin Lakes gets a large amount of water; July is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is October. Lots of people from Asheville come to Skelton Twin Lakes, and Merril Cove is a pleasant site to check out.
This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Big Hungry Creek; Bradley Rentals is a glorious place to get some rest. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Don't leave Skelton Twin Lakes without first going for a hike along the Shut-In Trail, and a good location to explore is Fairview Gap. There's great hiking along the Mullinax Trail, and paddling on Swannanoa River is so much fun.
That right there is a load of cool things already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. Concord Mountain is clearly visible from Skelton Twin Lakes; Skelton Twin Lakes is a glorious site to camp, Rutledge Lake RV Park is a glorious site.
