If you are in this part of North Carolina make sure to pay a visit to Sims Pond. Man, is there heaps of exciting stuff to do in the vicinity of Sims Pond. Near Sims Pond you come across the Daniel Boone Scout Trail which is a good hiking trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Sims Pond has to offer, you can camp at Honey Bear Campground. If only every location had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great planet it would be. Price

A splendid spot for whitewater paddling near Sims Pond is Boone Fork, and on a wonderful day you obtain a delightful vista of Bull Mountain from Sims Pond. the 70's at Sims Pond, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's while Sims Pond nighttime low temperatures all through the winter are in the 10's. And if that's not
enough there's heaps more entertaining things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's so much to do here at Sims Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Sky Ranch is a brilliant location for that, and after a long day
outdoors Ridgeway Inn is a good location to spend a night or two. Sims Pond is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are such serene places, why not visit Trout Lake near Sims Pond, and there are plenty of folks from Boone here at Sims Pond.
