You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. Visit Allison Creek if you're here at Simpson Lake, and there is a splendid hiking trail close by called the Buck Spring Trail. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Bearpen Mountain is simple to spot from Simpson Lake, and on a splendid day you can take       a hike along the Mullinax Trail. If you adore the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Simpson Lake. Lots of people from Brevard come to Simpson Lake; Andy Cove is another fine site to have a look at nearby. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Simpson Lake, too delightful to be true. Dodsworth Spring is a lovely place to take a look at while you're at Simpson Lake, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Brevard Music Center Lake is just                  a very short distance away. During the summer months at Simpson Lake highs are regularly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Simpson Lake a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is March, and October is when it's the driest. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is great! This is a wonderful vicinity for folks who like lakes. Laurel Falls Lake is a lake close by, and get drenched paddling on Looking Glass Creek.
