along the Group Camp Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. A great place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Simmons Lake is Little
River, and a lake close by is Smith Lake. The high level of rain makes Simmons Lake a quite wet place; July is when you get the most rain here, and November on the other hand is the driest.
