You could also explore Bonnie Doone Lake since you're here at Simmons Lake; it's close by, and do take a hike on the American Beech Trail. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like King's Grant Golf Club, and dry warm                  beds await you at Wellons Gateway Inn. Have a great hiking adventure along the Fish Camp Trail; NC Noname One-Thousand Thirty-One Dam is wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Lazy Acres, and going for a hike along the Group Camp Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. A great place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Simmons Lake is Little River, and a lake close by is Smith Lake.
