You can run the rapids of Rocky Broad River close to Silvers Lake, and Spivey Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Mama Gertie's Hideaway is a great site to camp; Holiday Inn Asheville-Biltmore East@Blueri is a wonderful spot to get some rest. For the duration of the days of summer here at Silvers Lake, high temperatures       regularly reach the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows during the wintertime for Silvers Lake tend to be in the 20's. From a rainfall point of view Silvers Lake is a reasonably common place; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And if that's not enough there's                  heaps more enjoyable things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Miles Motors Campground is a good campground nearby, and Blue Ridge Parkway is a good spot close by. And that's not all you can do here at Silvers Lake. One of the dominant features of the surroundings of Silvers Lake is Barnhill Mountain, and a day on the slopes of Wolf Laurel is just what you need. That right there is loads already, but it continues; Silvers Lake has it all. Take a side trip to Ashworth Creek. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. While you're here at Silvers Lake, you could also stop by pretty Hoopers Creek Lake, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Brookwood Golf Club is close by. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Shut-In Trail; get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Swannanoa River. Silvers Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you need a place to stay Asheville/North Carolina Days Inn is a brilliant choice, and the smiling folks of Asheville like to hang out close by.
