Be careful coming to Silvers Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. The Shut-In Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Silvers Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mama Gertie's Hideaway, and Holiday Inn Asheville-Biltmore East@Blueri is a glorious place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Really tremendous skiing awaits you at Ski       Beech, and Moore Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. There's tremendous hiking along the Side Hill Trail. There's so much to do here at Silvers Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Miles Motors Campground is a splendid place for that. The yearly precipitation here at Silvers Lake is about average; during July this area sees the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge                  Mountains. So many fun things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too perfect to be true. Wolf Laurel has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and you'll probably meet some people from Asheville here. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Silvers Lake. There's whitewater on Swannanoa River for all you thrill seekers, and while you're here, you could also stop by gorgeous Hoopers Creek Lake. Barnhill Mountain is scenic and can be made out from Silvers Lake; if you haven’t been to Blue Ridge Parkway, you have to schedule some time for it if you're here. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Silvers Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; nighttime lows all through the winter for Silvers Lake tend to be in the 20's. Looking for some flowing water?
