If you are traveling by, why not stop by Side Lake. This spot is so good, just check out all the fun things to do close to Side Lake. It's a tremendous idea to check out Meminger Creek, it's near Side Lake; people from Asheville love to come here. Any time is a glorious time at Side Lake if you adore the outdoors. Blue Ridge Parkway is a good place near Side Lake. Summer at Side Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and the nighttime is rather colder

| | of course, mostly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Side Lake drop into the 20's.
Lakes? Sure, Bonclarken Lake is in the neighborhood; there's glorious hiking along the Mullinax Trail. All year is a fine time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you like the outdoors. While you're here at Side Lake you can play some golf at Highland Lake Golf Club. There's so much to do here at Side Lake | |

that you need to camp here for a while, Alpine woods RV Park is a fine place for that. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Side Lake has to offer, you can camp at Big willow Campground, and you obtain a good vista of
Butt Mountain from here.
This lake is so wonderful. Bent Oaks is a great location to get some rest, and the Side Hill Trail offers hiking at its best. Side Lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. So much entertaining stuff
to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too brilliant to be true. If you need a spot to stay Lodge at Rhett Mill is a magnificent choice, and you don’t have to go far from Side Lake to see the water at Front Lake Dam.
Get covered
with water paddling on Green River, and a brilliant site nearby is Mine Gap. Side Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout March, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
Soar down the rapids of Big Hungry Creek in a kayak; why not take a refreshing hike along the Shut-In Trail.
