This lake is so wonderful. Beetree Creek is a nice place to stop at, and paddling on Rocky Broad River is so much fun. Swannanoa River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Sherwood Lake; Shut-In Trail is a magnificent local trail. Be careful coming to Sherwood Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Spivey Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at; if you       need a site to stay Asheville/North Carolina Days Inn is a fine choice. Sherwood Lake is a wet spot that gets a great deal of precipitation; all through the month of July you get the most rain around here, and October is the month with the least moisture. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The panoramas at Blue Ridge Parkway will blow your mind; Asheville East KOA is a tremendous local campground. This lake is located in                  the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Hit the slopes at Wolf Laurel in the neighborhood, and Sherwood Lake is a good location to visit for more than one day, Mama Gertie's Hideaway is a good location to camp nearby. For the period of the summertime months highs here at Sherwood Lake get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Sherwood Lake. Nearby Buckeye Cove is a splendid place to go if you're at Sherwood Lake, and since you're here you can play some golf at Black Mountain Town Golf Course. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is bountiful here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Do have a look at Beetree Reservoir close to Sherwood Lake, it's a beautiful lake, and Holiday Inn Asheville-Biltmore East@Blueri is a magnificent site to get some rest. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Sherwood Lake. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Ski Beech, and there are plenty of people from Asheville here. There's great hiking along the Side Hill Trail, and from Sherwood Lake you get a pleasant sight of Jones Mountain.
