Shermer Pond Dam is not far at all from Shermer Pond; if you're here, you could also stop by striking George Penergrass Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel - Jonesville/Elkin Area is a glorious site to get some rest, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Silo Run Golf Course.       A good site to camp here at Shermer Pond is Holly Ridge Family Campground, and you'll locate a stunning lake called Dobbins Pond.
