If only every location had this much outdoors enjoyable things, what a great planet it would be. If you need a location to stay Regal Inn is a wonderful choice. There's so much to do here at Shephard Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pine Lake Campground is a delightful place for that, and Comfort Suites Rockingham is a great spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure,       Corning Pond is close by, and you can take a little tour to Shephard Lake Dam since you're here at Shephard Lake. Shephard Lake usually gets lots of precipitation; most of the rain falls during July, and April is the month with the least moisture. If you're a golfer then a fine close by course is Richmond Pines Country Club; you can stay the night at Long Leaf Pines Oasis. Summertime highs at Shephard Lake commonly tend to be in the 80's.
