If you need a place to stay Regal Inn is a good choice, and enjoy a round of golf at Richmond Pines Country Club. All the water falling down from the sky makes Shephard Lake a wet place; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is April. This place, Shephard Lake, it truly has so much outdoors                  amusing stuff. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Corning Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Shephard Lake is not far at all from Rockingham.
