Shallowford Lakes is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Jomeokee Campground is a good spot to camp nearby, and why not take a refreshing       hike along the Cascade Trail. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Grandview Golf Club, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Express CLEMMONS (WINSTON/SALEM AREA) is a brilliant choice. Shallowford Lakes is not the only location nearby, Trading Post Lake is a nearby lake; Yadkin River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Throughout the days of summer highs here at Shallowford Lakes reach the 80's. All through the dark                  hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are commonly in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Shallowford Lakes. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up.
