Sequoyah Woods Lake is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while January is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Near Sequoyah Woods Lake you come across the Mullinax Trail which is a splendid hiking trail; if you've had enough of Sequoyah Woods Lake, Hemlock Lake is close by. At Sequoyah Woods Lake during the days of summer highs       are in the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Sequoyah Woods Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Glen Cannon Country Club Golf is in the vicinity, and Chestnut Mountain can be distinguished from Sequoyah Woods Lake. Some of the water close by flows, like Ibby                  Creek, obviously you could also pop by Trout Lake if you're here; it's not far at all.
