What a nice lake Saylor Lake is. Saylor Lake is a rather wet place commonly with much rain; July is the month that gets the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. If the weather is pleasant here at Saylor Lake, you can go for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and the summit of Burnt Mountain can be seen from Saylor Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Americourt Hotel-Mountain City, and lakes are such serene

Trail. But wait, there's more amusing stuff to do in the Great Smoky Mountains. Duck Branch is a glorious place to visit, and get your heart beating on the fine whitewater of Toe River - South. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant
site in the vicinity of Saylor Lake is Johnson Hollow, and Saylor Lake RV Park is a good local campground. During the summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Saylor Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs during
the wintertime are commonly in the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Saylor Lake temperatures descend to the 20's.
