Americourt Hotel-Mountain City is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a great hiking trail close by. Saylor Lake is a beautiful lake in the Great Smoky Mountains. Some of the water close by flows, like Duck Branch, and if you came for an overnight stay Toe River Campground is a pleasant spot to camp. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the Great Smoky       Mountains. Johnson Hollow is a nice location to stop by right next door to Saylor Lake, and not far from Saylor Lake you'll find Saylors Lake which is a striking lake. Summertime highs at Saylor Lake frequently tend to be in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Saylor Lake. Saylor Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal                  of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is October. This place, Saylor Lake, it simply has so much outdoors fun stuff.
