Toe River Campground is a tremendous local campground, and most likely you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Deer Park Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. hiking trail close by. Saylor Lake is a wet place that gets a great deal of rain; July is when you get the most rain here, and October on the other hand is the driest. There is a magnificent hiking trail near Saylor Lake called
the Stamping Ground Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Toe River - South offers some wonderful whitewater. If only every site had this much outdoors fun things, what a great world it would be. If you came for an overnight
stay Saylor Lake RV Park is a great site to camp, and close by you come across the Appalachian National Scenic Trail which is a fine hiking trail.
