Many people like to go to Santeetlah Lake. Be careful coming to the Great Smoky Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. Rattler Ford Campground is a fine campground here, and some of the water nearby flows, like Attooga Branch. That right there is a load of cool things already but it goes on, the Great Smoky Mountains has it all. Brooks Gap is a pleasant place to check out nearby, and camping at Santeetlah Lake is brilliant fun, Ceoah Paint Campground

| | is a brilliant local campground. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Santeetlah Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Santeetlah River, and Santeetlah Lake is right by the Stiffknee Trail.
Santeetlah Lake is a pretty wet place usually with a large amount of rainfall; throughout March this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. | |

Why not stop by Santeetlah Dam if you're here, and you can spot Funnel Top from Santeetlah Lake. Through the summer months highs here at Santeetlah Lake get into the 80's while night lows are frequently
in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Santeetlah Lake are in the 20's. This lake is located in the wonderful Great Smoky Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Santeetlah Lake; Long Hungry Ridge Trail is a perfect local trail.
