Whohoo, so much       entertaining stuff in one place! Salem Lake is unbeatable!. You'll meet a lot of people from Winston-Salem here, and Piedmont Quarry is a picturesque spot any time of year. All the water falling down from the sky makes Salem Lake a wet place; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and November on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Salem Lake and you like golf, you can take a look at Reynolds                  Park Golf Course, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Hanging Rock Trail. Salem Lake Dam is a pretty spot near Salem Lake, and you can run the rapids of Dan River. Throughout the summer highs here at Salem Lake get into the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Salem Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Brushy Fork Branch while you're here at Salem Lake, and Salem Lake is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Tanglewood Family Resort is a wonderful spot to camp nearby.
