Ryders Pond is a wet location that gets a great deal of rain; the month with most of the rain is July; April is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Ryders Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Americamps Lake Gaston is a magnificent local campground; nice hiking is available along the Discovery       Loop Trail. Throughout the months of summer at Ryders Pond highs are regularly in the 80's, and the nighttime is a little cooler of course, generally in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Ryders Pond dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
