North Carolina has many beautiful lakes and Roycroft Lake is one of them. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Roycroft Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Roycroft Lake are in the 20's. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Lake Shore

| | Golf Course; Hilton Garden Inn Durham Southpoint is a nice site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Roycroft Lake is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Dream Camps is a delightful local campground, and dry warm beds await you at Four Points by Sheraton Durham at Southpoint.

a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Eno River. Not far from Roycroft Lake you obtain some good water scenery at Roycroft Lake Dam, and getting to Kit Creek from Roycroft Lake is trouble-free.
New Hope
Creek is a great whitewater spot close to Roycroft Lake; while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Durham. The high level of rain makes Roycroft Lake a relatively wet location; during the month of July you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is April.
