If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Roxboro Country Club is in the vicinity, and after a long day outdoors South Boston - Days Inn is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are in fact abundant here at Roxboro Lake. Summertime at Roxboro Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures       are in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Roxboro Lake dip into the 20's. An out of the ordinary thing to stop at near Roxboro Lake is Roxboro Municipal Lake Dam, and camping is available at Holly Grove Campground. Lick Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at, and INNKEEPER Roxboro is a brilliant location to get some rest. Roxboro Lake gets                  much water; most of the rain falls all through July while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
