Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Upper Little River, and a tremendous place to camp here at Rose Lake is Lazy Acres. Rose Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; through the month of       July you get the most rain around here, and November is when it's the driest. The scenery at Rose Lake Dam in the neighborhood of Rose Lake is stunning, and if you need a site to stay Knights Inn Fayetteville-Fort Bragg is a wonderful choice. Lakes are such calm places, why not stop at Country Club Lake in close proximity to Rose Lake, and after a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites Ft Bragg is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. Rose Lake is a location                  with many visitors from Fayetteville, and there are some great whitewater spots on Little River. During the summer at Rose Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Rose Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
