If you are traveling by, why not stop by Rose Lake. Not far from Rose Lake, you'll locate Smith Lake which is a wonderful lake, and if you came to camp Fayetteville Koa is a nice place to do that. At Rose Lake you always meet someone from Fayetteville. There's so much to do here at Rose Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lazy Acres is a good place for that. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Upper Little River.

Highs throughout the winter are ordinarily in the 50's with temperatures at Rose Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Rose Lake. Little
River is a fine whitewater spot near Rose Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Knights Inn Fayetteville-Fort Bragg. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby King's Grant Golf Club is a great way to kill some time, and there are other places here than Rose Lake, for example Bonnie Doone Lake.
