Roland Pond is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. If you're going to Roland Pond from Henderson, you won't be the only one; it's a nice idea to pop by Pounder Branch. After a long day outdoors Scottish Inns Henderson is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tar River. | | night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and overnight lows during the wintertime for Roland Pond tend to be in the 20's. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Roland Pond is excellent! If you need a place to stay Budget Host Inn Henderson is a good choice, and camping is available at Steele Creek Marina. whitewater spot nearby. A good place to camp here at Roland Pond is Nutbush Bridge Campground, and if you've had enough of Roland Pond, Club Pond is close by. Roland Pond gets a common amount of rainfall; through the month of July you get the most rain around here while November is generally the driest month.
