Robinsons Lake is a wet site that gets a good deal of rainfall; most of the rain falls during March, and the driest month of the year is April. Robinsons Lake Dam has fine water scenery and it's near Robinsons Lake, and Tuckers Grove Campground is a great local campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Catawba River - South Fork, and if you need a place to stay Microtel       Inn Gastonia is a pleasant choice. If you love the outdoors, you'll fancy Robinsons Lake. Robinsons Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Kings Mountain State Park is a nice place to camp nearby. During the days of summer at Robinsons Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Robinsons Lake during the wintertime regularly fall                  into the 20's. Rankin Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and Robinsons Lake is a place with many visitors from Lincolnton. This lake is so wonderful.
