| | why not go to Perry Pond. A large amount of rain falls at Robertsons Pond; August is the month that gets the most rain while April is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Country Hearth Inn Knightdale is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Broadreach Summer Adventures. You can run the rapids of Neuse River close to Robertsons Pond, and you're sure to come across some nice folks | |

from Raleigh-Cary here. Summertime highs at Robertsons Pond typically tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Robertsons Pond.

Beaverdam Lake
 | Beaverdam Lake is really a part of Falls Lake. It is approximately fifteen minutes north of the I-540 beltway on Highway 50. Beaverdam Lake is separated from the main lake by a partial dam and bridge. It is approximately 500 acres in size.
Beaverdam Lake is restricted; no gasoline engines are allowed. This makes it a great place for kayaks, canoes, sailboats and electric-motor propelled boats. It has a very nice concrete boat ramp and adjacent dock, and has a very large parking lot. Adjacent to the boat launching ramp is a nice sand beach with floats delineating the swimming area and a small pavilion. ... |
