Get covered with water paddling on Rocky River, and a fine place to camp here at Ritchies Lake is High Rock Lake Marina and Campground. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Garden Inn is a splendid location to spend a night or two, and this is a popular place for folks from Albemarle. Ritchies Lake is a wet location that gets a large amount of rainfall; of all the months in a year May is the one with       the most rain; November meanwhile is the driest month. You absolutely must go for Ritchies Lake. There are great locations to explore along the Uwharrie National Recreation Trail. Paddling on Uwharrie River is so much fun, and you can take a little tour to Ritchies Lake Dam if you're here at Ritchies Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Pineview Motel, and Ritchies Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Whip-o-will Family Campground is a wonderful                  local campground. High temperatures at Ritchies Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's.
