Do stop by Rhodhiss Lake while you're in this part of North Carolina. This lake is so wonderful. People from Hickory-Morganton-Lenoir love to come to Rhodhiss Lake, and Yadkin River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. For the duration of the summertime months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Rhodhiss Lake while overnight lows are regularly in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Rhodhiss Lake dipping down into

| | the 20's throughout winter nights. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whitewater paddling is fine on Elk Creek, and you can stay the night at Green Mountain Park Resort.

Rhodhiss Lake generally gets a good deal of precipitation; through August this area sees the most rain, and the driest
month is January. That right there is a heap of exciting things already but it goes on, the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. Rhodhiss Lake is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Pine Mountain Campground is a wonderful
spot to camp nearby, and as expected, this is a brilliant neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Old Mill Pond is a lake close at hand. This lake is so wonderful.
I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Rhodhiss Lake.
