Not far from Rhodes Pond, you'll find Naylor Pond which is a charming lake; if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Dunn is a great choice. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cape Fear. Rhodes Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; throughout August this area sees                  the most rain; the driest month is October. Rhodes Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Fayetteville Koa is a great local campground, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Jameson Inn Dunn. This lake is so wonderful.
