An afternoon playing golf at Crestview Golf Course is always a diversion, and Mitchell River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors amusing things the Blue Ridge                  Mountains has to offer. Not far from Reynolds Lake, you'll discover Low Gap Wildlife Pond which is a gorgeous lake, and paddling on Chestnut Creek is so much fun. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Reynolds Lake; Bournes Branch Trail is a wonderful local trail. Lakes? Sure, Royall Lake is around here. This lake is so wonderful. You can distinguish Lens Knob from Reynolds Lake, and Deer Creek Recreational Vehicle Resort is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Reynolds Lake you get some delightful water scenery at Reynolds Lake Dam; splendid hiking is available along the Dogwood Trail. The warmest time of the year at Reynolds Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Reynolds Lake.
