If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Reynolds Lake. There's some flowing water nearby, Chadric Creek is a stream you can have a look at while here; going for a hike on the Yellow Branch Trail is always a fine adventure. Crestview Golf Course is a brilliant golf course nearby; there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Bournes Branch Trail. Yeah, come up here       to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a good time. Camping is available at Deer Creek Recreational Vehicle Resort, and the Dogwood Trail is a great hiking trail close by. High temperatures at Reynolds Lake through the summer are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's while the cold winter nights at Reynolds Lake are in the 10's. Reynolds Lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The yearly                  rain here at Reynolds Lake is about average; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Why not camp at River Views Campground if you're here at Reynolds Lake, and Reynolds Lake is a spot with many visitors from North Wilkesboro. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Galax Knights Inn is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two, and the top of Lens Knob is easily seen from Reynolds Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Chestnut Creek near Reynolds Lake, and get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Mitchell River.
