Why not stop by Ravenel Lake if you're passing through these parts. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. Old Edwards Inn and Spa is a great place to get some rest, and if you're hooked on cool geologic highlights try Wildcat Cliffs. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Ravenel Lake has it all. The Ellicott Rock Trail offers hiking at its best; why not head up to Scaly Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. here at Ravenel Lake; it's close by; a day on the slopes of Sky Valley is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Ravenel Lake Dam while you're here at Ravenel Lake; Highlands Falls is a stunning spot to check
out while you're at Ravenel Lake. Highlands Falls Country Club Pool & Tennis is a great golf course nearby, and Cowee Gap is unquestionably a perfect location to stop at. For the period of the summertime at Ravenel Lake highs are
generally in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Ravenel Lake tend to be in the 20's. And that's not all you can do here
at Ravenel Lake. Don't leave Ravenel Lake without first going for a hike along the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail; whitewater paddling is glorious on Cullasaja River. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun
stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. There's good hiking along the Shortoff Mountain Trail; a lake nearby is Whiteside Lake. This lake is so wonderful. All the water falling down from the sky makes Ravenel Lake a wet spot;
March is the month that gets the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Ammons Branch is a wonderful site to explore, and the peak of Bearpen Mountain can be seen from Ravenel Lake.
