This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. Old Edwards Inn and Spa is a great place to get some rest, and if you're hooked on cool geologic highlights try Wildcat Cliffs. That right there is heaps already, but it continues; Ravenel Lake has it all. The Ellicott Rock Trail offers hiking at its best; why not head up to Scaly Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. Whohoo, so       much fun stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains rocks! Stay the night at Ammons Branch Campground, and after a long day outdoors The Inn at Half Mile Farm is a good spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Norton Creek, and Van Hook Glade Campground is a pleasant campground nearby. Having a brilliant time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is uncomplicated. You could also take a look at Richard Wood Upper Lake while you're                  here at Ravenel Lake; it's close by; a day on the slopes of Sky Valley is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Do explore Ravenel Lake Dam while you're here at Ravenel Lake; Highlands Falls is a stunning spot to check out while you're at Ravenel Lake. Highlands Falls Country Club Pool & Tennis is a great golf course nearby, and Cowee Gap is unquestionably a perfect location to stop at. For the period of the summertime at Ravenel Lake highs are generally in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Ravenel Lake tend to be in the 20's. And that's not all you can do here at Ravenel Lake. Don't leave Ravenel Lake without first going for a hike along the Whiteside Mountain National Recreation Trail; whitewater paddling is glorious on Cullasaja River. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors fun stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. There's good hiking along the Shortoff Mountain Trail; a lake nearby is Whiteside Lake. This lake is so wonderful. All the water falling down from the sky makes Ravenel Lake a wet spot; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest.
