It's always fun to stop by Ravenel Lake. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Near Ravenel Lake you locate the Shortoff Mountain Trail which is a nice hiking trail; Bearpen Mountain is a peak you can spot from Ravenel Lake. The high level of precipitation makes Ravenel Lake a relatively wet location; the month with most of the rain is March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. | | of outdoors cool things the area in the vicinity of Ravenel Lake has to offer. Go for a hike on the Three Forks Trail, and Scaly Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff. Now, you may imagine that's lots but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Old Edwards Inn and Spa, and Cullasaja River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. Ravenel Lake in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Here at Ravenel Lake you'll
probably meet some folks from Seneca, and a brilliant place to visit is Rich Gap. This lake is so wonderful. Ammons Branch Campground is a wonderful local campground, and enjoy a round of golf at Highlands Falls Country Club Pool
& Tennis. This lake is so wonderful. Sunset Rock is an out of the ordinary place to explore while at Ravenel Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Van Hook Glade Campground is a great place to camp. If you need a place to stay
The Inn at Half Mile Farm is a magnificent choice, and Sky Valley is a very popular ski area close at hand. Cliffside Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and do set aside some time for Horse Cove if you're here at Ravenel
Lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Ravenel Lake, you could also visit close by Whiteside Lake. Summer at Ravenel Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Daytime highs through
the winter are in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Ravenel Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's.
