Ranch Lake ordinarily gets a lot of precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is April. The Grandover Resort is a nice place to get some rest, and a fine spot to camp here at Ranch Lake is Greensboro Campground. This lake is so wonderful. At Ranch Lake throughout the summertime highs are in the 80's. When       the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Ranch Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, King Lake is in the vicinity, and you'll almost certainly meet some people from Greensboro-High Point here. Looking for some flowing water? Try Hickory Creek, and Jamestown Quarry Lake is a glorious lake nearby. Good hiking is available along the Birkhead Trail, and                  the scenery at Ranch Lake Dam is pretty.
