Near Ramsey Mill Pond you come across the Lanier Falls Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and Deep River Golf Course is a golf course nearby. There's whitewater on Haw River for all you adrenaline people, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Bright Pond. This place,       Ramsey Mill Pond, it absolutely has so much outdoors fun stuff. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SANFORD is a brilliant choice, and Ramsey Mill Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Spring Hill Park is a wonderful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Campbell Creek Loop is always a good adventure; of course, this is a nice region for folks who like lakes, B Everett Jordan Lake is a lake                  nearby. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Sanford, and Ramsey Millpond Dam has good water scenery. This lake is so wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Deep River, and you're sure to encounter some great people from Sanford here. High temperatures at Ramsey Mill Pond throughout the summertime months are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Ramsey Mill Pond dip into the 20's.
