Rainbow Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Rainbow Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Rainbow Lake is not the only location close by, Briar Lake is a close by lake, and dry warm beds await you at Mountain Aire Cottages. Head up to Ski Beech and strap some skis to your feet; Brittain Creek is close to Rainbow Lake and is always a bliss to go to.

| | Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Green River, and going for a hike on the Mullinax Trail is always a good adventure. Stay the night at Big willow Campground, and there are perfect places to explore along the Side Hill Trail.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Rainbow Lake. There's so much to do here at Rainbow Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Alpine woods | |

RV Park is a good place for that, and while you're here and you like golf, you can check out Hendersonville Country Club. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Mountain Inn and
Suites Airport is a delightful site to get some rest; why not take a look at Laurel Park Lake Dam since you're here. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you come at the
right time of year, Big Hungry Creek offers some brilliant whitewater, and a spree to Blue Ridge Parkway is worthwhile.
Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Rainbow Lake. The summit of Bollers Knob can
be observed from Rainbow Lake, and a short spree to Crystal Spring is always worthwhile. Go for a hike on the Shut-In Trail, and lots of folks from Asheville come here. The yearly rain here at Rainbow Lake is about average; March
is the month that gets the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
All through the summertime at Rainbow Lake highs are mostly in the 80's, and the overnight is a little cooler of course, ordinarily
in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Rainbow Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights.
