Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do right next door to Quaker Lake. Camping at Greensboro Campground is always a great experience. This lake is so wonderful. Very great water scenery is available at Reynolds Lake Dam right next door to Quaker Lake, and Quaker Lake is not the only place close by, Nelsons Lake is a close       by lake. Camping is available at Deep River Campground And RV Park, and a lake nearby is Reynolds Lake. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Deep River; a perfect close by hotel is Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GREENSBORO-EAST. For the duration of the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Quaker Lake. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's.                  Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Quaker Lake all through the winter usually drop into the 20's.
