This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Greensboro(I85/I40@Lee St), Nc, and camping is available at Deep River Campground And RV Park. Not far from Quaker Lake you get some perfect water scenery at Reynolds Lake Dam, and you can run the rapids of Deep River. Just can't get enough of Quaker Lake. A delightful spot to camp here at Quaker Lake is Greensboro Campground, and since you're       here, you could also explore lovely Nelsons Lake. Cavalier Inn is a splendid location to get some rest; Quaker Lake is not far at all from Greensboro-High Point. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Quaker Lake. Summer night lows plunge down to the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are generally in the 40's, and overnight lows through the winter for Quaker Lake tend to be in the 20's.
