Quails Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; through the month of July you get the most rain around here; April meanwhile is the driest month. There is a good hiking trail close to Quails Pond called the Bluff Loop Trail, and KOA Campgrounds is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Stream Loop Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and why not explore Quails Pond Dam if you're here.       If you go for the outdoors, you'll adore Quails Pond. A glorious nearby hotel is Howard Johnson Inn, and Outdoor World Corp is a good campground nearby. Through the months of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Quails Pond with night lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; nighttime lows at Quails Pond all through the winter commonly fall into the 20's.
