Price Lake is a nice lake to visit. If you come at the right time of year, Boone Fork offers some glorious whitewater, and Price Lake is a tremendous location to visit for more than one day, Honey Bear Campground is a tremendous location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. It's a fine idea to stop at Bee Tree Creek, it's near Price Lake, and going for a hike on the Daniel Boone Scout Trail is always a brilliant adventure. After a long day outdoors Ridgeway Inn is a delightful spot to spend a night or two, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Watauga River. Flintlock Campground is a glorious campground nearby, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Trout Lake. most of the rain, and December is when it's the driest. If you're visiting Price Lake from Boone, you won't be the only one, and not far from Price Lake you get some fine water scenery at Julian Price Lake Dam. And if that's not
enough there's loads more enjoyable things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. For you golfers we recommend close by Boone Golf Club; if the weather is delightful, you acquire a nice vista of Buck Knob from Price Lake. Price Lake is
a beautiful lake in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. Go for a hike on the Yancey
Ridge Trail, and a great place is Coffey Gap. Through the warm days of summer at Price Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally
in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Price Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Sugar Ski and Country Club is a perfect spot to get some rest, and the skiing at Appalachian Mountain is tremendous. Now, you may feel that's
a load but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Price Lake. A day on the slopes of Hawksnest is just what you need. Lakes are good; Sims Pond is a lake that's near Price Lake.
