Get wet paddling on Deep River, and Pine Lake Campground is a great local campground. A fine close by hotel is Best Western Pinehurst Inn, and Powells Pond is not the only location close by, Aberdeen Town Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Powells Pond, you could also have a look at nearby Pages Lake, and       why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Legacy Golf Links.
