This lake is so wonderful. Boone Golf Club is a delightful golf course close by. There's so much to do here at Potato Hill Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Vanderpool Campgrounds is a splendid spot for that. If you came to camp Appalachian Campground is a tremendous spot to do that, and there are perfect sites to look at along the Yancey Ridge Trail. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Salt

| | Rock Gap is a delightful spot to look at, and going for a hike on the Daniel Boone Scout Trail is always a tremendous adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Potato Hill Lake is not far at all from Boone, and a picturesque lake like A S U Lake is a great place to stop by. A brilliant nearby hotel is La Quinta Inn AND Suites Boone, and do have a look at Different Drum Lake, it's a pretty lake. That right there is lots of fun things already but it goes on, | |

the Blue Ridge Mountains has it all. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Watauga River, and don't leave Potato Hill Lake without first going for a hike along the Iron
Mountain Trail. Potato Hill Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. You get a brilliant vista of Buckeye Knob from Potato Hill Lake, and skiing at Hawksnest is one of those things you just have to
do. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in close proximity to Potato Hill Lake has to offer. Very beautiful scenery and good skiing is what you get at Sugar Mountain. This lake is one of the great
places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It's a pleasant idea to explore Jones Branch, it's close to Potato Hill Lake, and after a long day outdoors Highland Hills Cabins - A Master Hosts Resort is a great place to spend a night
or two. Potato Hill Lake gets a great deal of water; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is December. High temperatures at Potato Hill Lake throughout the summer are in the 70's
with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Potato Hill Lake.
