This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Dunn come to Popes Lake, and a glorious spot for whitewater paddling is Upper Little River. From a rain point of view Popes Lake is a quite typical site; most of the rain falls during August, and April is when it's the driest. If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express FUQUAY-VARINA is       a brilliant choice, and you can stay the night at Dream Camps. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a look at Popes Lake Dam if you're here, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Group Camp Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Popes Lake has to offer, you can camp at Champion Cheerleading Camps, and enjoy a round of golf at Hidden Valley Golf Club.
