If you are in Rutherford county it's always a good idea to stop by The Pools. This lake is so wonderful. Fall Creek flows through this vicinity, and a lake close by is Bald Mountain Lake. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is excellent! You might want to pay a visit to Chinquapin Gap while you're here at The Pools, and a brilliant vista of stunning Cane Creek Mountain is available. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this

| | place. A short visit to Hickorynut Falls is always worthwhile; golf can be played at Lake Lure Golf Course.
Summertime highs at The Pools ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows through the wintertime for The Pools tend to be in the 20's. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful.

the amount of outdoors fun things the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. If you want to pop by some out of the ordinary stuff, pop by Chimney Rock, and a great close by hotel is Fairways Of The Mountains (Vri). There's so much to
do here at The Pools that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Lure RV Park and Campground is a nice place for that; Rocky Broad River is a great whitewater spot nearby. If you came to camp Hitching Post Campground is a wonderful
spot to do that; after a long day outdoors Apple Valley Villas is a pleasant site to spend a night or two.
The Pools is a wet place that gets a large amount of precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain, and December on the other hand is the driest.
