If only every place had this much outdoors exciting things, what a great earth it would be. Why not camp at Lake Lure RV Park and Campground if you're here at The Pools, and Rocky Broad River has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby. Having a pleasant time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is uncomplicated. If the weather is gorgeous, you acquire a good sight of Cane Creek Mountain from The Pools, and camping at The Pools       is fine fun, Lazy Boy Travel Park is a fine local campground. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. A splendid location in the neighborhood of The Pools is Chinquapin Gap. This lake is so wonderful. Chimney Rock is something you shouldn't miss since you're here at The Pools, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Lake Lure Golf Course.
