A beautiful lake like Dalton Pond near Pineview Lake is a brilliant place to check out; you can run the rapids of Dan River. This lake is so wonderful. There's splendid hiking along the Hanging Rock Trail, and Dan River is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby. For the duration of the long summer days at Pineview Lake temperatures are       frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's.
