During your tour to Pine Lake you'll meet some folks from Sanford for sure, and if you came to camp Heritage Camping and Recreation is a fine place to do that. After a long day outdoors Mid Pines Inn & Golf Club is a nice place to spend a night or two, and a scenic lake like Thagards Lake is a good location to visit. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little River. During the warmest time of the year at Pine Lake temperatures

| | are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Pine Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. A brilliant place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Pine Lake is Deep River, and Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club is a perfect location to get some rest. the month with most of the rain is July, and April is the month with the least moisture. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Pine Lake. Pine Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Lake Campground is a fine
local campground, and you'll find a striking lake called Shadow Lake. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Little River Golf Club, and you can take a little tour to Pine Lake Dam since you're here at Pine Lake.
