This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Davidson River is so much fun, and a quick trip to Bradley Creek is unquestionably a good idea. Big Knob is gorgeous and can be spotted from Pierce Lake; Pierce Lake is not far at all from Asheville. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is excellent! If you need a site to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Brevard, Nc is a wonderful choice, and you're       most likely hooked on lakes, Silver Lake is one of those close by. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Pierce Lake. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ski Beech while you're here. Looking for a nice spree? Blue Ridge Parkway is rather right next door to Pierce Lake, and there are splendid places to look at along the Laurel Mountain Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue                  Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Get drenched paddling on Little River; camping is available at Mountain Laurel Resort. Summertime highs at Pierce Lake regularly tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. All through the winter the highs are commonly in the 40's with temperatures at Pierce Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a fine time here at Pierce Lake. Why not camp at Lake Powhatan Campground if you're here at Pierce Lake, and going for a hike on the Mullinax Trail is always a great adventure. A great deal of rain falls at Pierce Lake; March is when you get the most rain here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Since you're here at Pierce Lake why not explore Jim Gap, and you can go for a hike on the Shut-In Trail. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer.
