High temperatures at Piedmont Lake throughout the warmest time of the year       are in the 80's, and the overnight is somewhat colder of course, frequently in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 40's while Piedmont Lake night low temperatures during the winter are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Piedmont Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Near Piedmont Lake you stumble on the Black Mountain Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail; Betty Kay Lake is a good lake nearby. Now, you may think that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Piedmont Lake. There are other places here than Piedmont Lake, for example Tar Heel Lake, and one of the main marks of the surroundings of Piedmont Lake is Dehon Mountain. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever want to return back home again.
