This lake is one of the great places here in the Great Smoky Mountains. Be careful coming to Pied Piper Lake Lower, you might not ever wanna return home again. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Turtletown Creek offers some glorious whitewater, and you can have a glorious hiking adventure along the Kirkland Creek Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Pied Piper Lake Lower       while night lows are usually in the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Pied Piper Lake Lower plunge into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
