Perry Lake Dam is worth visiting if you're here; Cane Creek Park is a fine local campground. Perry Lake usually gets a large amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls during March, and the driest of the months is April. If you need a place to stay Knights Inn Monroe is a splendid choice, and if you get bored of Perry Lake you could also take a look at nearby Cheek Lake. High temperatures at Perry Lake all through the warm days of summer are in the 80's.
