Going for a hike along the Cooks Wall Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and a glorious nearby hotel is Microtel Suites Mt. Airy. Summer at Pell Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; night lows at Pell Lake during       the winter frequently descend into the 20's. Pell Lake is a wet spot that gets lots of precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain; January is when it's the driest. Having a wonderful time at Pell Lake is trouble-free. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Pell Lake Dam, and do take a hike on the Run Trail. If you came for an overnight stay Serenity Stables and Campground is a nice site to camp; you can have a splendid hiking                  adventure along the Moores Knob Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Dan River, and a lake close by is Big Dan Lake. This lake is so wonderful. During your trip to Pell Lake you'll meet some folks from Mount Airy for sure, and if you need a site to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a nice choice.
